Kids in the Know works with a number of organizations that share our commitment to serving children and families. The organizations listed below are good sources of information on a variety of subjects - from child safety to educational and career opportunities for young people:


National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a national resource center and clearinghouse for information on child safety and victimization.

The Congressional Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus is a voice in Congress to raise awareness and help representatives work effectively to aid missing children and their families.

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has good information about the value and appropriate uses of direct marketing, including online privacy guidelines.

My Future provides one-stop-shopping for young adults looking for information on financial aid, scholarships, military service, getting a job, choosing a career, and managing money.

The College Board, a Kids in the Know member, has excellent college financial aid information for parents and students.

Reading is Fundamental is a leading non-profit children's literacy organization that helps children want to read. RIF believes that literacy begins at home and encourages parents to read with their children.

America Reads Challenge is a literacy initiative sponsored by the Department of Education. It seeks to help ensure that every American child can read well and independently by the end of 3rd grade. The web site tells how citizens can help.
